The Way We Are 3.0

The third edition of the exhibition format The Way We Are likewise presents spaces devoted to themes and artists with works loaned from affiliated private collections, offered by the featured artists and drawn from the museum’s own holdings. The focus is on issues such as the contemporary image of the human being, the role of daily life or photography after photography, as well as on minimalistic tendencies, images of Germany, the medium of the book or contemporary art as an expression of aesthetic contradiction. These thematic groupings are complemented by spaces  displaying the creative output of Kapwani Kiwanga, Joyce Pensato, Claudia Piepenbrock and Norbert Schwontkowski. And with Mel Chin, an artist’s bar makes its appearance.
