Caring forms the foundation of human coexistence. Female Artists from the second half of the 20th century onwards made care work—often invisible and performed under precarious working conditions—visible. The show illustrates the artistic shift from the Feminist Avant-Garde of the 1970s to contemporary positions. The VERBUND COLLECTION‘s exhibition, curated by founding director Gabriele Schor, aims to contribute to the appreciation of care work, which is still predominantly performed by women.
